5 minutes MUST_READ on steroids !

I know nobody wants to read books or long articles these days so I will sum it up for you here. Statements are given in order of importance of comprehending BEFORE you start any PED (performance enhancing drugs) protocol.

Hormones in the body that play a role in muscle building and fat loss  are
testosterone, igf1 (insulin like growth hormone), HGH
(human growth hormone), insulin and estrogen (predominate hormone in female).
These hormones are naturally occurring in the body and manipulating their total concentration and ratio by either exogenous intake (steroids, synthetic HGH and insulin) or stimulating body to produce their own ( peptides and some other PED) one can achieve superhuman performance and build extraordinary body which you are interested in obviously by reading this.

Estrogen is never used exogenous by men, yet we must be fully aware of its functions in the body, failing to recognize too high or even too low estrogen will have negative impact on bodybuilding efforts.I will try to explain some medical terms in common language and put that on use as in the gym battlefield, either by using it in your arsenal or defending yourself from bad and unwanted side effects.

Erythropoiesis : Creation of red blood cells. More red blood cells carry more oxygen and manipulating that process in the body is directly associated with enhanced performance. Anabolic steroids all have impact on this process and we call it "THE PUMP".  Favored by everyone. Pumping iron becomes a pure pleasure while on steroids.
Arnold no_last_name_needed even compared anabolic pump in the gym to sexual arousment (legendary pumping iron movie).
Yes it does feel great. Steroids known for best effect in production of red blood cells are Anadrol (clinicaly used for that part till EPO has been invented) and Boldenone.

DHT and its derivates do not have this effect, more on DHT latter. As you might have suspected by now DHT just like estrogen is not your enemy but another hormone that plays big role in body balance. We know having something completely  out of balance  for long time will cause problems sooner or latter. We call those problem side effects.

The best way to avoid side effects is to use low dosages of exogenous steroids and do not destroy totally balance of hormones in the body, at least not for longer period of time. If side effects are big concern consider peptides. They can not do so much damage in the body as steroids can even if used in the wrong way. Still my advice is to listen to older experienced guys which you are doing right now if you are reading this.

I have used my first cycle in 1993 and since then tried just about everything one can find on list of PED. I am still healthy and have healthy offspring so yes there is a proper way to do steroids for 30 or so years.  But I have paid attention when older gym bros talked about steroids  and was fortunate at the time proper information was circulating around, steroids were used only by athletes! Today some kids pop steroids as candy and share completely wrong info on it on internet where anyone can present him self as a pro-bodybuilder!  I got most of my basic knowledge from books, today none even bothers to read them. I was even saving to buy bodybuilding and steroids books and when one showed up read it cover to cover immediately. Knowledge is power. It has always been so and always will stay that way.  Books on steroids seldom have something completely wrong.
Some topics are not covered but what is cover is 99% correct information. There is author behind it with name and reputation to watch over before writing something!
None of the books I have read ever suggested overdosing! They all advocate rather safe dosage cycles and  avoding side effect, being even more careful then needed. Better safe then sorry. Following very conservative protocaol in the beginning of my careere has allowed me to gradually learn the typic and take full advantage of my genetic potential.

Frankly answer me now many of you in year 2025 start by buying a proper book?  Browsing internet is much cheaper and faster but I do not know if I want to go that way when it comes to my health !
This is NOT an advertisement for my book, that will come out sooner or latter but I have much respect for authors who dedicate time to properly educate people, not just make money by selling steroids which internet is flooded with these days.

Media is doing a horrible job by lying about steroids and exaggerating every problem anyone ever had on it.
They even relate some effects and horrible deaths to steroids, which are not true.
Seeing that they lie people do not trust them anymore and as such are easy victims to another side, aggressive greedy profit
hungry black market dealers which will make it look steroids are milk and honey.
The truth is in between :

"Steroids are powerful weapons in hands of educated athletes and a way to an early grave in hands of ignorant I_ do_ not_ care type of individual."

Get proper information on time - probably best advice for everything else in life too!

Back to our subject.

General rule of thumb is:
More testosterone is more muscle size and less fat and more estrogen means more fat and water retention, but soon things will get complicated. Some estrogen is mandatory in muscle building process as well, so using estrogen inhibitors such as tamoxifen and its stronger version Anastrozole without actual need for it t is a  BIG mistake !
It can be a mistake that will cost your gains !

Sadly some crooked dealers will offer you anything they can to make additional sales. They give testosterone to beginners and tell them now you need to buy "protection" for another 50-80 quid, actually they are killing your gains.

Estrogen is needed in the body for following reasons :
increases glucose utilization, helps in process of growth hormone secretion and helps androgen receptor sensitivity.
Studies where subjects used testosterone but as same time tamoxifen caused them to have less gains then those using
only testosterone.

Estrogen plays an important role in androgen receptor life cycle by either stimulating their production or slowing down their degradation, we all know androgen receptors role in delivering proper information to cells.

So use tamoxifen only if your estrogen levels get out of the control (very easy to see in blood test)
and / or you start noticing estrogen side effects (horrible gynecomastia and excessive water bloat, too high
procentage of fat in total weight gained). Tamoxifen is also shown to suppress IGF 1 so stay away from it if you are beginner.

Insulin is another thing to understand. It is very powerful anabolic and mandatory in muscle building system. Insulin will deliver nutrients
to cells.
Simple way to put is like this : Anablic steroids and HGH "say" or even command cells to grow (increase protein retention, slow down or stop
breakdown of proteins) and insulin is one bringing the nutrients in at that very needed moment. Failing to have both at optimal level will
fail or at least lower your gains.
But exogenous insulin is very dangerous to play with. I suggest you rely on your natural insulin secretion by taking your diet into order.
Simply plan your meals right on time with proper macros ! I have used insulin of course too. Simply had to try it. Only that one time I felt
I can die off something I have injected in my body. Never got that kind of panic ever on steroids, even trenbolone which is beside anadrol and halotestin considered very hard on the system.
Anadrol and trenbolone can make you feel like sh... at home but then you come to him you do you become a HULK ! All admiration and attention
from others plus braking records on every move you do makes you forget about sleepless nights, excessive embarrassing sweating and similar stuff.
But with insulin things can get really bad. After injecting insulin IT IS MANDATORY to FOOD, if you denied food that moment you can die !
panic will force you to grab anything, literally anything that has sugar in to overcome that crisis. Lucky today food is accessible everywhere 24/7
but still carrying some high sugar supplements in your pockets is mandatory if you decide to try insulin.
But once you master it you can literally feel muscles growing on it.
 
Using IGF1, HGH and insulin is what caused golden era of bodybuilding when only steroids and some hgh were used to jump on evolution scale
to mass monsters era with growth rate which only by using steroids is not possible

But lets say you do not need that information right now.

Stick to safe cycles !

At this point I will repeat my self, if unsure what you are looking for use peptides ! you can always switch to steroids once you discover
results are too mild, it is not waste of time but taking a step at the time !
